Janice Wilkinson-Morris Memorial Scholarship

Established to honor the memory of Janice Wilkinson-Morris, a proud 1980/81 Ohlone College alumna and faithful AACHS member. This award continues her legacy of excellence, generosity, and service by supporting Black/African American students transferring from Ohlone to a four-year university.

Award Amount: $1,000 | Deadline: May 4, 2026

Scholarship Eligibility

Status: Enrolled in 12+ units at Ohlone College.
Academic: Completion of 30-60 semester units with a 2.5+ GPA.
Transfer: Moving to a four-year institution in Fall 2026.
Residency: U.S. Citizen living in Fremont, Newark, Union City, or Hayward.
Mandatory Date: Attendance at the awards ceremony on June 6, 2026.

Official Ohlone Transcript: Must verify your GPA and the completion of 30 to 60 semester units.
2 Letters of Recommendation: From non-family members (Teacher, Counselor, or Supervisor). Must be on official letterhead with an original signature.
Proof of Transfer: If available, your acceptance letter to a four-year institution.
