SAVE THE DATE: AACHS 50TH ANNIVERSARY CELEBRATION ON JUNE 2, 2024, IN NEWARK.

In order to continue telling the story of African Americans, our goal is to purchase a building to permanently house a Black History Museum in the Tri-City Area.

Why? To showcase powerful moments in African American history, culture and community. In our area, there are so few of us that it is important to let others know that we have pioneers in our culture that have gone all the way from slave ships to the White House.

In African American culture, we have excelled in science, education, business, the arts, sports, the military and more. Help us keep the tradition alive by making a donation to our Black History Museum project!
