High School Scholarship
The Afro-American Cultural & Historical Society, Tri-City area & Hayward, has been serving the needs of the African American community since 1974. In addition to providing cultural enrichment and community support to residents of the Fremont, Newark, Union City and Hayward areas, our main focus has been to offer financial support through scholarship awards to graduating high school students of African American and African descent.
The awards range from $1,000 to $2,500 and are designed to help lessen the student’s financial burden. We look forward to receiving those applications from students who aspire to challenge their minds at an institution of higher learning.
